\n On October 10, the VR experience Hilma af Klint \u2013 The Temple premiered at Koko Camden i London, and was shown in Paris a week later. Hilma af Klint \u2013 The Temple is a digital art work inspired by the artist\u2019s vision to create a building to house her most important works. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Hilma af Klint dreamt of a spiral shaped building to house her most important work, but the idea never materialised. More than a century later, af Klint\u2019s vision has been translated into a VR experience where some of her most important paintings come alive.<\/p>\n

Hilma af Klint \u2013 The Temple<\/em> is produced in collaboration with Acute Art and premiered at Koko Camden during the Frieze Art Fair. The virtual reality work Hilma af Klint \u2013 The Temple is a 12-minute VR experience inspired by the artist\u2019s vision to create a spiritual building to house her most important works. The VR work includes 193 of Hilma af Klint\u2019s paintings in a format that transcends time and space and makes a significant portion of her artistic output available to the public.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

After that, Hilma af Klint \u2013 The Temple<\/em> was shown at Institut Su\u00e9dois in Paris where the director Ewa Kumlin gave a welcome speech. Marika Stolpe, CEO of Bokf\u00f6rlaget Stolpe, Daniel Birnbaum, Artistic Director at Acute Art and Chris Dercon, Directeur Grand Palais, also gave speeches.<\/p>\n

The release for Hilma af Klint catalogue raisonn\u00e9<\/a> was held at the Swedish embassy in London.<\/p>\n
