Welcome to a new year with Bokförlaget Stolpe!
Now that 2020 has kicked off we look back at last year with gratitude. We finished it off with the publication of three amazing books: Hilma af Klint: Visionary, Rural Urbanism and The Book and Reading. We couldn’t be happier or prouder to have produced these books in collaboration with extremely talented writers, translators, editors, project managers and designers. The two notebooks with covers featuring Hilma af Klint’s art also came out lovely. Thank you everyone who contributed!
The start of the new year also promises excitement. Next awaits the publication of Essays on Jane Jacobs, about this icon of urban planning, Wallpaper Through Times – Perspecitves from the Engelsberg World Heritage Site, a book about the history that wallpapers from different eras manifest, and Swedish Grace – A Forgotten Modernism, which tells the story of the iconic, neo classic, Swedish design from the 1910’s and 1920’s. Later this year we will attend Almedalen Week and Göteborg Book Fair.
We are very much looking forward to the nearest future, and are keen to share 2020 with our readers!
