Peter Stothard
Sir Peter Stothard is the author of books on ancient and modern politics including The Senecans, Four Men and Margaret Thatcher, The Last Assassin, The Hunt for the Killers of Julius Caesar, Palatine, An Alternative History of the Caesars, and Thirty Days, a diary of his time with Tony Blair and George W. Bush during the Iraq War in 2003. He was editor of The Times (1992–2002) and of the Times Literary Supplement (2002–2016).
