Dick Claésson is editor-in-chief of The Swedish Literature Bank. He completed a doctoral degree in 2001 based on his thesis ‘The Narratives of the Biographical Legend: the Early Works of William Beckford’. His Swedish publications include a two-volume edition of the collected poems of Anna Greta Wide (2020) and ‘Elfängen’, a study of the staging of memories in the artist Ivar Aronsenius’s home, co-authored with Jonathan Westin (2023). His exploration of the world of Goethe and Schiller, ‘Goethe viskar i Schillers öra’, was published the same year.
