Kristoffer Leandoer

Kristoffer Leandoer is a writer and literary critic. He has worked at the Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet and served as the editor-in-chief of the Swedish literary magazine BLM from 2002 to 2004. Since the publication of his first collection of poems in 1987, Leandoer has written more than 30 books and was twice nominated for Sweden’s August Prize, for his essay collections ‘Mask: Litteraturen som gömställe’ (2010) and ‘Längta hem, längta bort’ (2020). He has received various awards and honours, most recently the Madeleine Gustafsson Prize for literary criticism. His most recent essay collection, ‘Den oavslutade litteraturen’, was published in 2023.
