Peter Luthersson

Peter Luthersson is an associate professor of literary studies at Lund University. As cultural editor of the Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet, he launched the ‘Kanonmuller’ series of 26 articles published around the turn of the millennium. As CEO and chief editor of the publishing house Bokförlaget Atlantis, he brought out 24 new books (in 31 volumes) in a series of classic world literature. As a privileged jack-of-all-trades at the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit, he has hosted 64 half-hour conversations about world literature on the Swedish programme ‘Luthersson läser världslitteraturen’ on Axess TV.
