Michael Hviid Jacobsen

Michael Hviid Jacobsen is professor of sociology at the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Aalborg University, Denmark. His research interests include death, dying, palliative care, grief, crime, emotions, ethics, social theory and research methodology. For more than 25 years he has studied and written about our contemporary culture of death.
