Jonna Bruce

Jonna Bruce is a literature scholar and librarian. She used to be a school librarian at Hammarkullsskolan in Gothenburg. She has also worked as an associate professor at the University of Borås. Along with her work as a school librarian, she is a popular lecturer on the subject of children and young people’s reading and has written a number of books and teaching manuals. Her most recent book is ’Vad fan gör jag nu? Guide för ett hållbart skolbibliotek’ (2025). In 2023, she received the Swedish Academy’s school librarian award.
