Lena Kättström Höök is an ethnologist, writer and former curator at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm in charge of traditions and folk beliefs. She has written about subjects such as Christmas, St Lucia Day, New Year’s, magic to protect the home, star songs, masks, ritual objects in folk beliefs, and folk beliefs about shepherd’s huts. She also runs the podcast on Swedish traditions Häger&Höök.
