Daniel Birnbaum

Former roles include Director of Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden, from 2010 until 2018, and Director of the 2009 Venice Biennale. Between 2000-2010 he was Rector of Städelschule in Frankfurt and Director of the Kunsthalle Portikus. He is contributing editor at Artforum in New York and has curated a number of large exhibitions. He is currently a board member of The Hilma af Klint Foundation.
