Kurt Villads Jensen

Kurt Villads Jensen is a professor of medieval history at Stockholm University and director of the Centre for Medieval Studies. He received a doctorate in oriental philology in 1992 for his thesis on Christian perceptions of Islam in the medieval period and a doctorate in history in 2011 for his thesis comparing Denmark and Portugal in the period 1000–1250 as two crusading nations.
