Candida R. Moss

Candida R. Moss is an English New Testament scholar and historian of Christianity, and is the Edward Cadbury Professor of Theology at the University of Birmingham. She is a frequent news commentator for CBS and CNN, and writes regularly for the Daily Beast, Slate, Politico and Times Higher Education. Her books include Ancient Christian Martyrdom: Diverse Practices, Theologies, and Traditions; The Myth of Persecution: How Early Christians Invented a Story of Martyrdom and Reconceiving Infertility: Biblical Perspectives on Procreation and Childlessness.
