Malise Ruthven

Malise Ruthven is a former scriptwriter for the BBC World Service. He has taught Islamic studies and comparative religion at Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, and the University of Aberdeen, among others. His books include Islam in the World; The Divine Supermarket: Travels in Search of the Soul of America; Fundamentalism: The Search for Meaning; A Fury for God: The Islamist Attack on America; L’Arabie des Saoud: Wahhabisme, violence et corruption and its English version, Unholy Kingdom: Religion, Corruption and Violence in Saudi Arabia.
