Lars Ericson Wolke

Lars Ericson Wolke is Professor Emeritus of Military History at the Swedish Defence University in Stockholm and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences. He has authored over 40 books, focusing mainly on the history of the Baltic region. His most recent publications are Nationens avskum, militärens elit: myt och sanning om de värvade soldaterna i Sverige (‘Dregs of the Nation, Military Elite: Myths and Reality about Enlisted Soldiers in Sweden’, 2023) and Sten Sture den yngre: en biografi (‘Sten Sture the Younger: a Biography’, 2023).
