Kimberly Kagan

Kimberly Kagan is the founder and president of the Institute for the Study of War.
She is a military historian who has taught at the US Military Academy at West Point, as well as Yale, Georgetown and American University. She served as a volunteer in Kabul from 2010 to 2012, as a result of which she received a Distinguished Public Service Award. She is the author of The Eye of Command and The Surge: A Military History.
