A.N. Wilson is a columnist and writer known for his critical biographies, novels and works of popular history. He has taught medieval literature at New College, University of Oxford. He contributes to plenty of journals and magazines, including The Evening Standard and The Spectator, and has written over 40 books, e.g. the novel Winnie and Wolf, the biography Dante in Love and the history The Victorians.
