Anders Hallengren

Anders Hallengren received his doctorate for a dissertation on the philosophy of Ralph Waldo Emerson. He is an Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Stockholm University. His studies of Swedenborg’s influence around the world have been published in the volumes Gallery of Mirrors (1998), The Grand Theme (2013) and Gränszon (2017). He was president of the London-based Swedenborg Society from 2011 to 2013 and vice-president from 2013 to 2015.
