Andreas Winkler

Andreas Winkler completed his doctorate in 2011, is a researcher in Egyptology and works at Freie Universität Berlin (Department for the History of Knowledge in the Ancient World). He previously worked at other universities in Sweden, elsewhere in Europe and in the US (including UC Berkeley, Oxford and Stockholm). Winkler’s research focus is Ancient Egyptian history and philology, particularly during the Graeco-Roman period.
