Ann Boglind

Ann Boglind is a retired teacher of Swedish and a teacher educator who has written textbooks for schools and universities. Together with Anna Nordlund, she came up with the idea for and selections in the Swedish Academy’s poetry anthologies for children ‘En bro av poesi’ (2021) and ‘Tid för poesi’ (2024). She was awarded Sweden’s Pro Patrias medal for her ‘engagement in showing children and young people the joy of reading and expanding their world’, the Ingvar Lundberg Award for ‘efforts that inspire reading’ (2023) and, together with Anna Nordlund, the Örjan Lindberger Award ‘for their many years of work providing guidance in Sweden’s literary heritage’ (2024).
