Axel Boltenberg

Axel Boltenberg is Lieutenant Commander, Commanding OJicer HSwMS Uppland at the Swedish Armed Forces. Starting with junior oJicer training at the Swedish Defence University in 2009, Lt Cdr Boltenberg has been in active service with the Swedish Armed Forces 1st Submarine Flotilla since 2012. After graduating from the higher oJicer programme in 2023 and further active service at sea, he took command of the submarine HSwMS Uppland in 2025.
