Barry Strauss is Bryce and Edith M. Bowmar Professor of Humanistic Studies at Cornell University, with joint appointments in the Departments of History and Classics, and is the Corliss Page Dean Fellow at the Hoover Institution.
He has received the Lucio Colletti Journalism Prize for Literature and was named an honorary citizen of Salamis, Greece. His books include The Death of Caesar: The Story of History’s Most Famous Assassination and Ten Caesars: Roman Emperors from Augustus to Constantine.
