Gertrud Sandqvist

Between 1995 and 2007 and since 2011 she is also the rector of Malmö Art Academy. She has been writing extensively on mainly European contemporary art since the early 90’s. 2010 she was the co-curator of the Modernautställningen at Moderna Museet, Stockholm. She co-curated, together with Sarat Maharaj, Dorothee Albrecht & Stina Edblom The Gothenburg International Biennial of Contemporary Art 2011. She curated Channeled, a show with contemporary artists and Hilma af Klint at Lunds Konsthall, Sweden, 2013, and Against Method for Generali Foundation, Vienna, 2013. Currently she is researching the occult diaries of Hilma af Klint.
