Helmut Zander has been Professor of Religious Studies in the Faculty for Catholic Theology at the Université de Fribourg since 2011.
He is currently working on a theory of cultural “grammar” from a comparative perspective. A further major research focus is the history of Western esotericism, in particular anthroposophy in Germany. He is the author of Rudolf Steiner. Die Biographie.
