Ingrid Dunér

Ingrid Dunér is a is a doctor of philosophy and a teacher in the history of ideas and sciences at Lund University, Sweden. She has previously lived in China and has written a book about the Swedish Maoist movement of the 1960s and 1970s (‘Mao i Sverige’, 2017). Her research currently focuses on the history of post-Darwinian evolutionism, utopian thinking, transhumanism and projects of human enhancement. Her dissertation is ‘Controlling Destiny: Julian Huxley's Post-Darwinian Evolutionism and the History of Transhumanism’ (2024).
