Joel Halldorf

Joel Halldorf is a senior lecturer in church history at the Stockholm University of Theology, where he also runs the Kyrka i samtid research centre.
The focus of his research is on religion and modernity with a special interest in Swedish non-conformist movements. He also contributes to the culture section of the newspaper Expressen and writes regularly in the magazines Axess and Fokus. His most recent books are Gud: Jakten and Kvällstidningsteologi 2010–2020: Från populism till pandemi.
