Johan Rådberg

Johan Rådberg (1942–2010) was Professor of Architecture and the Built Environment at the Faculty of Engineering, Lund University.
He was awarded a PhD in 1988 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm for his thesis ‘Doktrin och täthet i svenskt stadsbyggande 1885–1975’ (‘Doctrine and Density in Swedish Urban Development 1885–1975’) and carried out research in urban development at both Lund University and KTH. He was the author of such works as Den svenska trädgårdsstaden (The Swedish Garden-City) and Stadsbyggnadskonstens irrvägar (The Fallacies of the Art of Urban Development). In 1998, he was awarded the Yngve Larsson Prize for his contribution to urban history.
