Joseph Rohrer

Joseph Rohrer (1769–1828) began his career as a civil servant in Bregenz. In 1797, he was transferred to Lemberg and in 1800 was appointed police superintendent. In 1806, he took a job teaching political science and statistics at the upper secondary school in Lemberg. From 1817 to 1827, he was a professor of statistics at Lemberg University.
