Karin Bosch Roxman completed a master’s degree in political science at Stockholm University in 1967 and then worked as permanent secretary at the Swedish Ministry of Trade and Industry and with Swedish aid.
She worked at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1982 and has served as ambassador to Mozambique, Lesotho, Jordan, Iraq and Pakistan and as consul general in Jerusalem. From 1999 to 2001, she was political advisor to the EU’s special emissary to the Middle East.
