Kenneth Payne is a professor of Strategy at King’s College London. His research focuses on political psychology and strategic studies. He has consulted for the governments of the United Kingdom and the United States and appeared before parliamentary inquiries in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. His works include ‘I Warbot: the Dawn of Artificially Intelligent Conflict’; ‘The Psychology of Strategy: Exploring Rationality in the Vietnam War’; and ‘The Psychology of Modern Conflict: Evolutionary Theory, Human Nature and a Liberal Approach to War’.
