Lars Trägårdh

Lars Trägårdh is Professor of History at the Ersta Sköndal University College in Stockholm, and previously taught European history at Barnard College, Columbia University for ten years. In 2011, he was appointed a member of Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt’s commission on the future of Sweden. His books include State and Civil Society in Northern Europe: The Swdish Model Reconsidered, and After National Democracy: Rights, Law and Power in America and the New Europe.
