Lena Kåreland

Lena Kåreland is professor emerita of literature studies at Uppsala University. She has researched reviews of children’s books, the interplay between modernism and children’s literature, and the relationship between literature for children and adults. Kåreland has published studies about literature in school and teaching, including in terms of gender, and has spotlighted the work of Lennart Hellsing in a number of publications. She has also pursued her interest in French literature, most recently in ‘Franska flanörer ‘(2021).
