Lotta Olsson

Lotta Olsson worked at the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter 1987–2024 and for many years was the book review editor for children’s and young adult books. In 2017, she was awarded the Gulliver Prize by the International Board of Books for Young People (IBBY) Sweden for her work. From 2010 to 2024, she also had her own column on book recommendations in Dagens Nyheter, where she wrote about popular literature. In 2024, she was elected to the Swedish Crime Writers’ Academy and since 2025 provides tips about detective and crime fiction in the Swedish literature magazine Vi Läser.
