Magnus Florin

Magnus Florin is an author and critic whose focus is literature and art. He has also worked as head of radio drama at Sveriges Radio and as head dramaturg at Dramaten, the Royal Dramatic Theatre. His novels have been translated into several languages, and his most recent publication is Descartes dotter (2023). He has written several opera librettos, such as Hemligheter about Emanuel Swedenborg, for Malmö Opera, and is also an essayist, with works including the Strindberg study Lykttändaren (2021). He is the recipient of numerous prizes and scholarships.
