Maibritt Giacobini

MaiBritt Giacobini, MD, PhD is a specialist in clinical genetics and in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is head of research and chair of healthcare services provider Prima Vård’s Evidence Council, medical expert for the children’s charity My Special Day, and chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Section of the Swedish Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. Giacobini is part of the Translational Psychiatry research group at Karolinska Institutet, which investigates the connection between neuropsychiatric disorders, gut bacteria and immunoactivity.
