Mikael Wiberg

Mikael Wiberg Professor of Informatics at Umeå University, Sweden. He has held positions as Professor of Interaction Design at Chalmers University of Technology, Chaired Professor of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) at Uppsala University, and Guest Professor in HCI at Södertörn University, Sweden. Wiberg’s main work is in the areas of interactivity, materiality, and sustainability. He has published his research in many top journals including Design Issues, Design Studies, International Journal of Design, ToCHI – ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction, and
Human-Computer Interaction. He is author of The Materiality of Interaction: Notes on the Materials of Interaction Design and serves as co-editor-in-chief for ACM Interactions.
