Niclas Franzén

Niclas Franzén is an art historian specialising in Symbolist and esoteric art in Sweden around the turn of the twentieth century.
He has written extensively about various aspects of Ivan Aguéli’s life and art. He has published writing on artists including Olof Sager-Nelson, Tyra Kleen and Ivar Arosenius, as well as the philosophical and religious foundations of Symbolism. Today, Franzén is a university adjunct in art history and visual communication at Linköping University.
