Nils Johan Tjärnlund is a science journalist, writer and lecturer with a particular focus on the lumber mill era in the Swedish province of Medelpad as well as on cultural history.
He has worked since 2001 for the Vetenskapsradion science programme on Swedish public radio and since 1993 at Sundsvalls tidning, and is chairman of the Olof Högberg Society. Tjärnlund has written a number of books about Sweden’s industrial history.
