Pär Stenbäck

Pär Stenbäck was elected chairman of the Swedish People’s Party (of Finland) in 1977 and has since then been Minister of Education and Foreign Minister in the Finnish government. He is a founding member of the International Crisis Group (ICG) and founding chairman of the European Cultural Parliament. He has also been the secretary general of the International Federation of the Red Cross. He has written several books and is a regular columnist.
