Simon Sorgenfrei is an Associate Professor in the Study of Religions at Södertörn University. He is also chair of the university’s Institute for Research into Multi-religiosity and Secularity (IMS).
His research interests include Islamic mysticism and encounters between Sufi and Western esoteric traditions. His most recent book is "De kommer att vara annorlunda svenskar": berättelsen om Sveriges första muslimer (2022).
