Stefan Szende

Stefan Szende (1901–1985) was born in Hungary, completed his PhD in Vienna in 1930 and was active in the Socialist Workers’ Party of Germany (SAPD).
He arrived in Sweden in 1937 and continued his career in publishing, including at Dagens Nyheter and in the trade press. In 1947, he became Head of Scandinavia for Agence Européenne de Presses (AEP) and was TT’s Berlin correspondent for many years.
