Thomas Idergard

Thomas Idergard has a professional background in politics and public relations in the 1990s and early 2000s, but is a Catholic priest since 2017. He entered the Jesuit Order 2012 and had his formation in Germany, the UK and South Africa. As a priest he has worked in parish ministry above all in Stockholm and Uppsala with a special emphasis on faith formation (catechesis), social teaching and vocations. Since 2025 he has a coordinating responsibility for evangelisation in the Catholic diocese of Stockholm. He is a member of the editorial committee of the Catholic cultural journal Signum and a regular contributor of articles on faith and society in different secular media.
