Thomas Melin

Thomas Melin was the former Head of the Office of External Relations at the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) in Nairobi, Kenya, where he specialised in UN Inter-Agency Coordination and Strategic Partnerships.
He was responsible for the global Sustainable Urban Development Network (SUD-Net), which is facilitating collaboration between a range of cities and urban networks in the field of public space. Mr Melin is an architect and planner who received his education and training from the University of Lund and also worked for Sida – the Swedish International Development Agency. Currently Melin is the Strategic Relationship Manager at Mistra Urban Futures.
