Ulrike Franke

Ulrike Franke is a Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, based in Paris. Her research covers German and European security, defence, and technology’s impact on geopolitics. She co-hosts the Sicherheitshalber podcast and teaches at Sciences Po Paris. Franke holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Oxford. Her doctoral thesis received the John McCain Dissertation Award from the Munich Security Conference.
