Alexey Arbatov

Alexei Arbatov is a Russian political scientist, academic, author and former politician. He is a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the head of the Center for International Security at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations. Until 2017, he was a scholar in residence at the Carnegie Moscow Center. His books include Missile Defense: Confrontation and Cooperation and Nuclear Reset: Arms Reduction and Nonproliferation (both co-edited with Vladimir Dvorkin).
