Hilma af Klint celebrated in London

The first six volumes in a unique catalogue raisonné of the abstract pioneer Hilma af Klint, one of the first to be compiled for a Swedish artist, were celebrated at the Serpentine Gallery.

Last week, the first six volumes of Hilma af Klint’s catalogue raisonné were celebrated at the Serpentine Gallery in London. The two editors of the books, Kurt Almqvist and Daniel Birnbaum, gave speeches along with art critic Jennifer Higgie.
The last volume will be released in October 2022.
