Joel Halldorf

Joel Halldorf is professor of Church History at University College Stockholm, where he also runs the Church in Modernity research centre. His research explores religion and modernity with a particular focus on free church movements. He also works at the cultural desk of the Swedish daily Expressen and writes regularly for the magazines Axess and Fokus. His most recent publication, about people of the book, is ‘Bokens folk: En civilisationshistoria från papyrus till pixlar’.
