Norman Stone (1941–2019) var professor vid institutionen för internationella relationer vid Bilkent University i Ankara. Han var tidigare professor i modern historia vid University of Oxford, adjunkt i rysk och tysk historia vid University of Cambridge och rådgivare till premiärminister Margaret Thatcher. Hans större verk inkluderar The Eastern Front, 1914–1917, som vann Wolfson-priset för historia, och Europe Transformed: 1878–1919.
